I was listening to this song today "Many the Miles" by Sara Bareilles.  There is this one verse that basically matches how I've been feeling lately to a T:

"Red letter day and i'm in a blue mood
Wishing that blue would just carry me away
I've been talking to God don't know
If it's helping or not
But surely something has got to got to got to give
Cause i can't keep waiting to live"

I was just texting to a friends this morning that I am so tired of wishing that my life was the way I want it, I simply want it to be like I want it... if that makes sense.  As the song says, "I can't keep waiting to live".

I know what life has ups and downs, but I feel as if I've had my fair share of downs since I entered the post-college adult world, I feel like its my turn to have happiness....

Ugh... I'm just having a 'Red letter day and I'm in a blue mood' day....
